Bonding resin plays the role of resorcinol, RF or RFS system in rubber compounding applications.

1)  (PRT-1201) plays the role of resorcinol, RF or RFS system in rubber compounding applications. This resin can enhance the adhesion between rubber compounds and steel wire or synthetic fibers.

2) During the vulcanization of rubber compounds, resorcinol based ( PRT-1201 ) can react with the methylene or formaldehyde donor materials, such as hexamethoxymethylmelamine (HMMM) and hexamethylenetetramine (HMT), to form cross-linked network structures. There are two types of reaction expected with  (PRT-1201) during the rubber curing process.

The first cross-linking reaction, which can produce a chemical bond between the reinforcing cords and resin, enhances the adhesion between rubber and cords. Another cross-linking reaction, which may occur during rubber vulcanization between the resin and double bonds of rubber molecules, enhances the cured rubber compounds physical and mechanical properties.

(PRT-1201)retains good adhesion properties of brass plated steel cords to rubber compounds under the heat, humidity and salt aged conditions.

Therefore, (PRT-1201) is an ideal adhesion promoter to enhance the adhesion between rubber and the synthetic fiber cords and brass or bronze coated steel cords, particularly in truck, bus and passenger tire applications. PACKAGING 25kg(net weight), kraft bag inner PE coated or PE bag.

STORAGE  This material can be stable for 18 months under the normal storage conditions. However, precautions must be taken to avoid exposure to sunlight and always, store this material in a sealed container under the dry and cool conditions
